Satin-smooth fields contrast beautifully against powerfully struck, intricately detailed devices, providing for a truly remarkable example of the 1900 San Francisco mintage.   and is worth a premium over the standard MS62.

 

 

Back in 1900, the San Francisco Mint produced just over 1.8 million Liberty Double Eagles. Over the past 109 years, most of this original mintage has been lost to circulation or the massive bullion melts of the 1930's. Only a small fraction of the surviving coins from this mintage have received the Choice MS62 designation from ANACS. 

 

Liberty Double Eagles from the 1900-S mintage are in high demand by collectors, and this is your rare opportunity to own a magnificent example.
