1900s VISUAL OLD MAID'S PUZZLE QUILT HAND QUILTED

This sturdy cotton Old Maid's Puzzle quilt is a graphic and visual vintage beauty. The quilt is machine sewn as well as hand quilted with fabrics from the 1900's. It measures a generous 94''x 79'' and is in very good unwashed condition, with no wear, no rips, no fabric splitting and there is some fading and staining to the pumpkin colored material. There is straight line stitching, figure 8 motif, wave stitching and square grid stitching, throughout at 5 to 6 stitches per inch. The stitches are precise and consistent. The binding is machine stitched and the batting in thin. This quilt is a wonderful sewn together work of art. The quilter put a lot of thought into the selections of materials to give the quilt a great visual look.

Circa dates are approximate and not guaranteed, but dated according to some referencing and our experience. Circa means "about the time" and usually references a 10 year period.
