One of the earliest and rarest Basketball items you will ever see is this March 25, 1902 (1901-02 season) Broadside advertisement for games at the University of Vermont. Basketball was invented in the 1890's and this is very early for ANYTHING related to the sport during its infancy. Measures about a foot tall and comes from the University of Vermont. It is for interclass games and it is in great Original condition with just a few wrinkles and a single tack hole at the top where it was displayed on campus. When is the last time a 1901-02 Basketball Braodside was offered for sale?
