1901 WALTHAM 14K Solid GOLD 7-15 Jewel Pocket Watch

This auction is for a wonderful 100% AUTHENTIC AMERICAN WALTHAM WATCH COMPANY antique pocket watch MADE IN THE U.S.A. According to the movement and Serial #9724787, this watch was manufactured in approximately 1901 with a 7-15 JEWEL movement. This watch measures approximately 34 MM across without the crown and weighs a total of 34.5 GRAMS. Both case covers are marked inside 14K WARRANTED US ASSAY or 14K for 14K SOLID GOLD !!

The CRYSTAL is intact. The DIAL does not appear to have any hairline cracks, but could not see the rim !! All hands are present and working. The Crown will engage to set and wind. Pocket watch was working when observed briefly at the time of this listing, but it has not been inspected closely or tested for accuracy and will at least require a cleaning or simple adjustment to return to full working order !! Inside dust cover is plain and has not been engraved, but is lightly scratched !! There are also small scratch marks at opening sites !! The outside case is plain with decorated edge, but worn with light scratches !! One cover is engraved with initials on the outside !!
