......turn of the century book lore...........
This is a very cool paper magazine for book lovers dated July-August 1902 and published by the Book-Lover Press in New York. Approximately 100 pages and several pages of ads of the time and other unnumbered pages. All sorts of articles about books including, but not limited to: The finest library in the world; Rarely beautiful volumes; the brothers Dalziel; The youngest living author; bookbinding for bibliophiles; musings of bookish men; and much, much more.
Several period ads, mostly about books and news publishers and several railroad ads. Lots of illustrations and photographs. There is a color page, as shown, entitled "The First Page of the Mazarin Bible" which says it is reproduced by courtesty of the International Printer of Philadelphia. This is No. 3, Vol III - June-July 1902 and is called "Midsummer Holiday Numberr".
