Description

 

Here is a WONDERFUL Antique PICTURE FRAME Whimsy from the VICTORIAN Era .. an example of NATIVE AMERICAN Indian craftsmanship with intricate BEADWORK Decoration and Sequin Accents - probably a Souvenir item from one of the Iroquois tribes of the eastern Great Lakes area .. an ELEGANT little piece with Crystal Clear and Multicolor glass beads against Black Cotton Fabric surface - back surfaces covered in Tan cotton fabric .. fancy Arched Shape .. pocket slot on back to access picture holding area .. dates circa 1902 .. see 4 photos below also .. LESS Than Perfect antique condition with some some missing beads and expected fabric wear and stains from age .. the numeral '1' of the date 1902 is missing due to bead loss as well as a few clear bead sections above it around oval frame window - also some missing thread stitches on back edges of cotton backing - a string or wire would need added on back for hanging .. measures overall 4 3/4" long x 3 1/2" wide .. oval view window measures 2 1/8" x 1 1/4" .. guaranteed as described .. offered 'As Is' with NO RESERVE!
