A vintage wooden miter box in good condition with original label about 90% intact, the PERFECTION MITER BOX, patented 1902, manufactured by Union Hardware Co., Torrington, Conn., U.S.A., with instructions that follow on the label. It is a little over 16" long and has the number 656 on the metal piece. The back wood is attached to the bottom with wood pegs; I suspect the L-shaped metal supports were added later. A quality addition to any vintage tool collection, as well as, I believe, a useable miter box!
