A beautiful antique faience dinner plate marked, "HR" and "Quimper." A lovely example of the classic Quimper design, the plate has an colorful, almost geometric design in the center with bands of blue and yellow at the edge. Measures 9 inches in diameter. The mark on the back of the plate dates the piece to between 1904 and 1922. Excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs -- even the glaze is remarkably free of chips - a common flaw in older Quimper.
