This auction is for an Elgin Pocket Watch in a 14K solid yellow gold Brooklyn Watch Case Company case. This watch is in excellent and accurate working condition. The watch and case together weigh 98 grams. The watch has been checked by a jeweler and found to be authentic and the case to be solid 14K gold.

Movement Details

The serial number of the 17 jewel, 3 finger bridge watch movement is 14680875, indicating a manufacture year of 1909. Clean single-sunk porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals, minute markers and subsidiary constant seconds register. Stem wind stem set.

The serial number of the case is 6309215 and is marked “WARRANTED 14K TO ASSAY B.W.C.CO.” The case is in very good condition with only the expected wear of a watch that was carried. The crystal may have been replaced and is like new.
