Illustrated advertising card (about the size of a #10 business size envelope) for Smith's Standard Breeding Crate for breeding sows or pigs.

 

The back of the card has about 10 signed testimonials from pig farmers about the crate. Testimonial letters dating from 1908 & 1909:

 

 

Mooresville, Indiana: H. M. Smith, ca. 1909; (I think he previously had lived in Monrovia Indiana according to the text of the gold medal he received (shown on the recto of the card in facsimile).

Corners lightly bumped; inked note on the front side of the card asking about freight charges and giving the weight of the thing (350 pounds). Otherwise VG. A neat agricultural collectible.
