1909-S $20 GOLD ST. GAUDENS DOUBLE EAGLE!

Graded by PCGS: RARE MS64

Brilliant Uncirculated Condition!

A beautifully bright, truly lustrous GEM STATE coin!  The population of this very rare coin is extremely low with only 1255 at this grade by PCGS and only 1247 by NGC. There are only 205 coins graded higher by PCGS and only 204 coins graded higher by NGC for the 1909-S $20 gold St. Gaudens!

THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEM:

One (1) 1909-S $20 Gold St. Gaudens coin graded MS64 by PCGS.  Satiny peach-gold color embraces both sides of this well struck near-Gem coin.  The striking details of this magnificent coin are uniformly crisp with only a few minor marks precluding the attainment of a higher grade.

This beautiful coin will provide both investors and collectors with an opportunity to purchase this item at a fantastic price that starts well below its market value!  This coin is being offered at a starting price that is a deeply discounted wholesale price!  Bid now and lock in the value!

The handsome mahogany finish display case is included absolutely FREE of charge to the winning bidder!  The coin shown here is the actual coin you are bidding on.  It is NOT a stock photo.  As you can see from the photos, this coin is absolutely stunning with abundant luster and strong eye appeal!  Featured in a solid wood display case, this coin is certain to enhance the value of your collection! Note: Display case photo is stock photo.  Winning bidder will receive one exactly like the one shown in the photo.

According to the Encyclopedia of U.S. Gold Coins, examples of the 1909-S Gold St. Gaudens coins are "normally found well struck, with eye appealing luster, but usually in very low Mint State grades.  It is apparent from the total number graded, which is well under 10,000 coins, that the vast majority of these were melted in the 1930s.  Important auction results include a PCGS MS 65 coin (January 2004) $6,901... and a PCGS MS 65 example (August 1998) for $6,900."
