1909'S LONGINES SOLID GOLD & DIAMONDS H/C POCKET WATCH






 

 Case:  Original Longines hunting case.  18K solid gold.  Beautiful floral motif repousse on the front, set with 4 diamonds.  Engraved monogram on the back.  Outstanding condition for a 100 years old watch.  The case measures 31 mm in diameter without the crown, and is 10 mm thick.  Signed on the dustcover 'Longines, 4 Grands Prix Paris, Paris, Paris, Milan, Bruxelles'.  All covers marked inside with the 18K gold seal and Swiss gold hallmark.  

Total weight: 30 grams -  1.05 oz.

 

Dial: Original Longines enamel dial in excellent condition, without details.  Golden hour spade and minute whip.  Black Roman numbers.  Outer minute track.  Small sunken seconds subdial at 6.  Signed Longines.  

 

 Movement: Original Longines Caliber 11.91.  Manual wind, in excellent condition. Signed Longines with serial #2395019, dating this piece to 1909.

This watch has been serviced, including cleaning and oiling of the movement, cleaning and refitting of the hands, and cleaning and polishing of the case.
