 Description Shipping and payments
1910 postcard entitled "Glacier Lake on the Switzerland Trail, Boulder Colorado." The Switzerland Trail was the narrow Gauge Colorado & Northwestern Railway which ran from Boulder to Ward and Eldora. What makes this card interesting is that it bears a "Boulder & Eldora" Railway Post Office cancellation, indicating that it was mailed on one of the C&N-W's trains. The C&N's operation of an RPO was a brief undertaking. Postmark is dated August 10, 1910. An interesting and very scarce peice of Colorado's railroad history.
