This gorgeous 1910-D St. Gaudens gold beauty has been graded Gem MS63 by NGC due to its spectacular appearance. 
 
Powerfully struck, intricately-detailed devices stand out against satin-smooth surfaces, providing for an impressive St. Gaudens Double Eagle.
 
Back in 1910, the Denver Mint produced over 429,000 St. Gaudens Double Eagles, and over time most of this original mintage has been lost to circulation or the massive bullion melts of the 1930's.  This is coin is one of the surviving examples of this wonderful mintage.
