1910's GEORGE BORGFELDT 25" PAULINE BISQUE DOLL
This little girl is Sooo sweet! This 1910 to 1922 exceptionally beautiful George Borgfeldt doll is 25" tall, perfect bisque head, beautiful brown set glass sleep eyes with lashes, one missing and with shaded lips, her beautiful brown eyes just sparkle and she has the prettiest flawless complexion, open mouth with four tiny white rounded porcelain teeth, finely hand painted lower eyelashes, and eye brows, with delicate coloring on a ball- jointed-legs and jointed knees, composition body, and in great as found original condition. I believe her blonde wig is not original. Her head is marked: G. B.
These dolls were made from 1910 on to at least 1922, Perfect bisque, some age cracks to the right hand, no other repairs , fully jointed original composition body. Her fingers are not broken, there is played with wear ( rubbed marks) on the composition body, not bad for her age. The doll wears its original brown dress, white eyelet petticoat, white full teddy pantaloons, white socks and tan felt tied shoes. For all her beauty she would make a wonderful addition to your collection, a great gift. These early dolls don't become available that often! I have listed other dolls in MY EBAY STORE.
