1910s Moderne Bauformen German Architectural Print #3
The item being offered is an antique architectural print from Moderne Bauformen, a German architectural publication circa 1910. The magazine was published by Julius Hoffmann in Stuttgart. The image is of an interior of a house in Dresden with designs by artisan Gertrud Kleinhempel. From Wikipedia: "Kleinhempel was trained in Dresden as an artistic embroiderer and art teacher. in 1899 she worked in Dresden as furniture, jewelry and textile designer for the Dresden workshop Schmidt and Mueller." Printed below the image is: A. Gatternicht, Stuttgart. The sheet size is 14⅛" x 11¼". The Moderne Bauformen triangle logo is in the lower left corner. The print is in good+ condition with some age toning and chipping on the edges and corners, and one small tear on the bottom edge, all of which can be matted out for framing. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation within the U.S. The print will be shipped flat. I will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
