This Book would make a fine adittion to any Barrie collection or library collection in general. It is getting very hard to find in ANY condition. BID WITH CONFIDENCE.... It is an excellent investment as it will only keep appreciating in value, as the 1906 edition by Hodder & Stoughton has reached market values up to $30,000.
This book is in Nearly mint condition, the defects are almost none, the gold gilt on the covers is not worn or fading, the spine is VERY slightly sunworn (faded from the sun), a bit of fading on the rear cover along spine (see photo) otherwise no staining or soiling to covers, the corners are not bumped or worn, all the plates are present, the pages are in good condition, page forends ends uncut (not trimmed), The endpapers are clean, bright and unmarked. No foxing or soiling evident, No cracks or cracking, nothing is loose or coming loose, and best of all, there is NO, NONE nada writing or marking anywhere in this book !!.
