1912 Case Steam Traction Engine, 60 Horsepower, Serial Number 28806
This traction engine is of museum quality and is excellent for indoor or temporary outdoor show and display.
The engine has been painted to match the original coloring and hue of the previous paint job on it.
The reason this piece is being sold is because I do not have any indoor storage space for it and believe that others may have more use of it than I do.
This engine comes with all of the original tools, including the original coal shovel that came with the Case 20 years ago.
All wood steps and toolboxes were replaced with new wood and restored, as the old wood was no longer fit for use or display.
All parts in the engine are original; this includes, but is not limited to, the steam gauge, pressure release valve, and all other parts of this Case traction engine. Also, the canopy of the traction engine is also original and has been restored to its original condition. In the traction engine, the engine turns freely and is not frozen. The traction engine at the moment is not up to par with driving around, as you would need boiler certification before it can run properly, otherwise it is ready to go with that little bit of extra work. With the engine, the original steam whistle and pressure gauges are all in mint condition and ready for work or service.
