Here's another from that fine collection off istruments that I just can't say enough about. This one is a Frank holton Cornet dated back to around 1912 (serial number 15418) This one was made in Chicago before they moved to Elkhart sometime around 1915. another Superb instrument with no flaws or issues to discuss. Slides all pull just right making that popping sound and the valves are very tight and quick! The original finish is spectacular with not a ding or dent to be found.Above the engraving twards the 3rd valve it reads: COUTURIER MODEL then of course it reads: New Proportion Made By Frank Holton & Co. Chicago. Looks to have a "gold washed inner bell' very attractive! Plays perfect up and down the scale with a wondeful tone! Comes with the extra slides, two mouthpieces, the lyre and a cleaning rod. I'll just let the pictures show the rest. Shipping will be around $25.00 in the U.S. and I do ship worldwide. Buyer to have insured. Please send payment within 5 days of auction close. Thank you for your bids and good luck!! These horns from the collection I'm selling really don't get much finer than the ones I'm offering.
