A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
1912 N.Y. American Newspaper Front Page on Titanic
This is a front page of the New York American Newspaper dated Wednesday, April 17, 1912 with the news of the Titanic sinking and the Carpathia saving some. It is only the picture with no story attached. The picture is of the front of the French liner the Niagra. There are a couple of pictures on the back with a picture and sympathy note from King George. The newspaper is in fair condition commensurate with its age. There is a tear at the top and one at the side margin. But it would be a great piece of history to be framed. This paper will soon be 100 years old! I bought this at an estate sale so I don't have any background on the paper.
I expect payment within 7 days, unless agreed upon by buyer and seller. Please if there are concerns, email me before any bids are placed. I want this to be a pleasant experience for both of us. Thank you.
