Ture Vintage and Extremely Rare 1912 ILLUSTRATED CATALOG and PRICE LIST for THE LUNKENHEIMER CO out of CINCINNATI OHIO. Great find that come to you out of a local Hardware Store that had been in business for the past 135 years before closing it's doors in January of this year. Lunkenheimer was easily the largest manufacturer at the time of Valves made with Cast Steel, Brass Iron or Semi-Steel. They also made Gauges, Injectors, Lubricators, Oil OPumps, Oil and Grease Cups as well as a variety of Motor Accessories. This was a huge company back in 1912 with headquarters in Cincinnatil but with other offices in New Orleans, Chicago, Boston, New York, London, San Francisco and Australia. They were incorporated in 1889. Book measures approc. 5" X 7". It is 1-1/2" thick with 654 Pages!
This piece in in VG Condition for its age. It is a very intense catalog and literally a wealth of information of the aforementioned products of the time. The Cincinnati Valve Company in 1994 took over the operation of selling these High-Grade Valves and are still keeping the tradition alive. The Catalog is stamped 50 on the cover. Old Hardware Catalogs such as this were ususally hardbound and look like ancient Library Books such as this. You will find that most American Manufacturers back in the 1900s-1930s such as Stanley put out catalogs like these. They are very hard to find.
