This book is in great condition with bright colors, every page there, nothing torn and no major oilstains and water spots that hit so many books. Each section is still bound together. The staples have been removed and so the overs came off as well as the spine. This can be rebound at Kinkos starting at $5. One can SEE FROM THE PICTURES HOW GREAT THIS IS!!

In some ways this catalog is better than the Sears Roebuck in that it was for the wholesale market. Many of the beds, chairs, tables, rugs, etc, are more likely to have come out of the wholesale Albert Pick as there were more sold. It is also interesting for theater and movie casting people today as no where else is there a complete description of the furniture, prison beds, spitoons, beer knives??, uniforms, and lobby extras that can give something the real feel (like a pencil dispenser - who would have thought?).

First of all, many picutres are in color and there are 582 pages . So if something was in use, like beer and soda fountain dispensing equipment then it will be here and there will probably be a page or more on it. I can't get over all the little knick knack stuff listed here that one would never think of, like sanitray napkins, bathroom fixtures, or pages of poker chips and tokens, that would have been obviously needed to run a hotel. Pages of cups, electric and gas lamps, tom and jerry bar drink sets, salt and pepper shakers, coffee and chocolate urns ,stoves, pages of linens and decorative trays and pictures and silver plated ware and on and on and on.
