  SOLID COPPER-NICKEL COIN!

  • Solid Semi-Key date Buffalo Nickel issue with natural eye appeal for the good grade
  • Borderline very good detail and a hint of attractive gold at very rim edge that highlights nicely, but some really dark areas present hold this one back a bit
  • Rim into top of letters obverse and a somewhat weak date, albeit very readable, hold this one back but it presents itself well nonetheless
  • Wonderful and hard to find Denver addition for any quality circulated Buffalo nickel set!

The scanned images depict this coin fairly well, but don't due justice to the overall appearance of this 1914 Denver Buffalo Nickel.  Natural copper-nickel coin with some bright steel gray present but also some darker areas from honest circulation. Solid coin has textbook good detail with a very readable date, but with some slightly weak numbers, and the rim obverse is worn slightly touches tops of letters. If you can live with the dark areas, this coin's natural appearance, even detail and strong mint mark makes this a fairly solid semi-key date Buffalo nickel that will be a welcome bargain addition to any collection. This item was part of my husband's collection. He is terminally ill with cancer and wants me to sell all of his private collection, coins and currency. I have three minor children to raise and so I comply.
