City Directories are a valuable resource in tracking your family.  Sort of like the modern-day telephone book, these directories provide a listing of residents.  In addition, many of the listings tell the person's spouse's name, occupation,  and address. 

The listings in this book on CD appears as follows:

• The name
• Spouse's name (if applicable)
• How many children in the household
• Occupation
• If the residence is owned by the resident
• Amount of livestock owned
• Rural route number
• Township of residence

Note:  Not every listing contains all of this information.  At the very least, the listing will contain the person's name and township of residence.

There are many ads for local businesses at that time.  There is also a business directory included in this directory.
