This model was Discontinued in 1999

This was a no frills race car and a no frills model of it.  It is, however cute as a button and very well done.  Here, Franklin Mint honored the very early motorcars with one of their best renditions. 

Done in bright, shiny yellow, with beautiful thin black pin striping-this model has to please any aficionado of early American cars.  All the nickel-plated parts gleam.  The dash, floor and running boards are done with real wood veneer and the seats look and feel like leather.  There are lots of terrific details with the early controls, levers, buttons and other gadgets everywhere.  The engine is nonetheless nicely detailed showing just how simple they were in those early days.  The undercarriage is also nicely done, with plenty of detail with an authentic finish on the exhaust system.

You can just imagine what it was like driving this car back in the quarter of the 20th century.

This car is in MINT CONDITION and probably was never displayed.  It comes with the Hang Tag and is packed in the Styrofoam Liner and Outer Box.  Paperwork includes the Certificate of Authenticity, Schematic and Care & Use Instructions.  Don't miss this terrific car.  You won't be disappointed.
