This auction is for a beautiful antique brass candlestick telephone, marked on the base: WESTERN ELECTRIC - MADE IN U.S.A. - PAT. AUG. 16, 04 - SEPT. 13, 04 - JAN. 26, 15 - marked on the bakelite earpiece: WESTERN ELECTRIC - PAT. 1262838 - 144 - This old telephone is in remarkably very good condition with no oxidations on the brass parts, no frays or tears in the cloth cord, a complete felt bottom pad, and only a tiny shallow chip on the top of the bakelite mouthpiece (see pics). It measures 12" tall on a 5 1/4" base and weighs 3 lbs. 12 ozs.
