pictured and described below. The sale of the
McKinley
dollars aided in paying for a memorial building at
Niles, Ohio,
the martyred president's birthplace. The obverse, showing a profile of
McKinley, was
designed by
Charles E. Barber;
the reverse, with the memorial building, was designed by
George T Morgan.
This coin was produced in 1916 , with a circulation of 15,000 coins and
again in
1917 with a
circulation of only
5,000 coins.
As this coin has never been certified, I am allowing a 5 day return
after receipt. I am not certified to grade coins but this coin will
undoubtedly grade above AU . MS grades range in value from $875 - $3300. Shipping & handling charges include insurance.
