Looks like an ex-library book with the little paper sticker
on the corner of the front cover, but the inside says otherwise.
Not only was it used by someone trying to learn, evidenced by
the word "mañana" written on the second page and some later
graphics, but countless infantile scribbles throughout also suggest
a less erudite approach by a less mature "reader".
If you look at the photo, you can see what is actually the mark
of a small creature having consumed part of the book before
giving up on Spanish and moving on to seeds. The lower left
corner is gone.
Also, a quick scan will tell you that time has not been kind to this
book and has liberally donned it with stains, soil and what I can
only refer to as STUFF on the cover.
But still, one never knows who might be looking for a genuine
Ainslie or Stanton & Van Vliet missive and have everything but
this fabulous treatise of the Spanish language!
