Original oil on heavy textured burlap like canvas: image/canvas size: 15 3/4 inches by 11 3/4 inches: signed illegibly lower left: dated in pencil on the upper bar/verso at left " 1919 ". notation in pencil on upper bar/verso, center - " collection J ( or T ) Reynolds - Carmel California " (  framed ).

This bold stroked, richly colored and thickly painted early Plein Air oil is in mint condition: It is beautifully framed in a new expensive heavy wood custom frame ( also in mint condition ): frame size is 21 1/2 inches by 17 1/2 inches.

Probably a coastal view somewhere in the Monterey, Carmel region.
