THIS AUCTION IS FOR A TICKET STUB TO THE JUNE 22ND, 1919 GAME FEATURING THE NEW YORK YANKEES AND THE BOSTON RED SOX. THE GAME WAS PLAYED AT THE POLO GROUNDS IN NEW YORK(BEFORE YANKEE STADIUM WAS BUILT). ON THIS DATE THE YANKEES DEFEATED THE RED SOX 6-2 AND YOU CAN BET THAT BABE RUTH WAS IN THE LINE-UP FOR THE RED SOX. THE STUB IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION AND THERE IS AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE PELL TREE INN ON THE BACK SIDE. INSURANCE IS REQUIRED ON PURCHASES OVER $100.00.
