From my personal collection is a single Two-Mark, German note issued in 1920 by the German Government as State Loan Currency. This note was in use during the Nazi Party's struggle for power in the early 1920s. This is a quite small, but impressive note measuring 3 7/8" x 2 5/8". The photos show the front and the back of the note. The front of the note has a tan background, a field of red, and red letters. The back of the note has a tan background, the field is red/brown, and the lettering is burgandy. Notes of this era have been circulated, carried and folded, BUT THESE ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. These notes are difficult to find due to their age (85 years), and their serial numbers vary. This note shows intricate detail, design, and expert craftsmanship. This item can not be sold in Germany, Italy, France, nor Austria - as per eBay rules. Historians helping collectors. Copyright_germancollectors_2009
