Title: 1920’s Arcade Red Baby Dump Truck No.3

Desc: Circa 1923 Arcade Red Baby Dump Truck cast iron, painted red with white rubber tires and has nickel plated dump lift, crank and steering wheel with driver. According to Arcade data the No.1 series had metal spoke wheels, No.2 series had disc wheels and (this toy) No. 3 series has the white rubber tires and later used small Chevrolet wheels with black tires. On each door is an “International Harvester Trucks” decal, each have wear and chips, on the driver’s side on the front side of the dump is an “Arcade” decal. Paint wear on edges, high points and top, has paint chips and fading on top along with minor surface rust. The white rubber tires have “The Republic Rubber Co., Youngstown, O.” tires are dried out and fit the hubs loosely, they have cracks and splits. Inside on the right casting is “Made By Arcade Mfg. Co.” On the underside at the dump pivot has a small chip and the bed axel or rod looks bent, believe this occurred upon assembly. Vintage Truck is 10 ¾” long and 4” tall.
