CD ROM Title: 1923 Milliner Trade Catalog.

This interesting hat maker’s (milliner) trade catalog from the flapper era is a window into the fashion world of the time were hats and bob hair were “in”! Contains tips and tricks of the trade on hat design and color choices for the different seasons. Some of the fine print in this publication are not very clear but the photo images are quite nice for art projects, collage, altered art projects. 

For the milliner or anyone interested in hat making history in the United States, this is a way to travel back in time to 1923. See the choice of vendors, materials, trimmings, and trade products available to hat makers close to a century ago! Tips like use of felt, ribbon trimmings and display of hats in shop windows and marketing of hats. 

The CD contains a 72 page trade catalog in PDF format for easy browsing and printing. Each page image is also made available on this CD in individual JPG files.
