Condition:

    The print is in excellent condition [i.e., clear and clean image, very strong paper and plate mark, vivid colors, no bend, no tear, and slight but even age toning]. It was printed on high quality heavy wove watermarked paper with a blank verso. There are some very minor glue residues around the margins and some warbling of the paper visible from backside as shown by the detailed photo. Ample photos (front, back, and details) are presented for you convenience.  

Description:

     This very nice and rare colored aquatint (a special type of etching with distinctive granule pattern that simulates watercolor quite well) was produced by Ferdinand Jean Luigini (1870-1943, a very well-known and respected French landscape painter and etcher) and published by L Estampe Moderne in 1930. His etchings published by L'Estampe Moderne were quite limited (usually with an edition size of 200). It depicted a Dutch street scene with several interesting figures in the foreground. Pleaset note the very low starting price with no reserve. Happy bidding!
