Here we have a Salesman's Sample and Patent Model of a Circa 1920 Touring Car.

This is a very interesting car, used to demonstrate the ease of raising and lowering the canvas top, It was probably displayed at dealerships, these are exceedingly rare as most became obsolete with the newer models, The car is a large 36" long, we were told one similar to this one sold for around $40k. It was possibly made by the Star Motor Co. william durant in 1922 started the star motor company , and had made several of these cars to display at several large fairs and trade shows across the country , trying to show that his product was better than say ford ect, this car is in Pristine Condition and has incredible detail, look at all the pictures.
If anyone can give us more information on this car it would be greatly appreciated.
