For sale is a beautiful circa 1920 MUSEUM QUALITY AUTHENTIC HANDMADE NAVAJO wool rug !! Pictures were taken for detail and as such do not show all the vibrant color and splendor of this rug !! Much better in person !! It has a tight weave and weighs just under 20 LBS as it is just over 22 LBS boxed and ready for shipment !! Rug is a large but popular size and measures approximately 63 x 116 INCHES !! This classic handmade rug features an array of wonderful colors including BLACK, natural WHITE, TANS and BROWNS, GRAYS and beautiful RED colors !! Except for the REDS , most colors are obtained by mixing various colors of natural wools !! Please note there are a number of areas that are frayed, stained and one area with two small holes. We have endeavored to show each in the pictures. Holes shown in picture eight go through the rug, but is the only area with holes. The frayed edges are shown and more obvious, but as you see there are also some soiled areas. Most are small spots with the exception of one larger area shown in picture six. As a result of those conditions, consideration may be given to careful cleaning before display. If you are going to use this rug on a bare floor, we recommend you place a pad under it to keep it from slipping !! You may have another purpose in mind as many rugs of this type are more commonly used as wall hangings and provide a beautiful asthetic display !!
