An exceptional safety Waterman 42 continental overlay 1920s (close and protuberant thread), safety mechanism working it needs a new cork ring, the body is decorated with a gorgeous garland decoration, probably makers Cavalieri brothers, gold nib Mondial 585 it is not original, 42 is marked on the end, as you can see a dent on the top of the cap and some dents on the edges, small discolourations on the cap and on the end.

Uno splendido esemplare anni venti, caratteristica la filettatura stretta e sporgente, di Waterman 42 safety, con un decoro stile "Pompeiano", probabile realizzazione dei f.lli Cavalieri, riproducente una elaborata composizione floreale, il sistema di sicurezza funziona perfettamente, occorre una nuova guarnizione di sughero, il pennino in oro è marcato Mondial 585 e non è originale, sul cappuccio un'ammaccatura e qualche piccola scoloritura, una lunga scoloritura sull'estremità, piccole ammaccature sui bordi, il fondello originale è marcato 42.
