RARE "PHOTO MONTAGE" - "BABE" FIRST NAME VARIATION

This auction is for a 1922 E121 American Caramel vintage baseball card of the Yankees Hall of Fame Legend - Babe Ruth. This vintage caramel card of the Babe is from the E121 set "Series of 120" with this being his tough "Photo Montage" Variation. The card is in very nice collectible condition with a bold dark image and strong overall eye appeal. It is miscut towards the top does have slightly rounded / frayed corners and would would grade VG or better except for a spot of scuffing in the upper left corner along with the bottom edge that shows up as a wrinkle on the back. The bottom border apparently has been very slightly trimmed as well. Still a nice affordable example of this tough Ruth caramel card that has strong eye appeal. It has been authenticated by Sportscard Guaranty but not given a numeric grade due to the slight trim.
