Up for auction is a Vintage, to the best of my knowledge and research, 1922 Steinway Model "O" Grand Piano, with the bench. If I remember correctly a few of the ivory's had some chips on them.
Ser# 210027
Readings on the cast iron harp:
Z-3670, 10/18m, 3336 ebonized, Capo DAstro Pat, Duplex Scale Pat.
The Piano measure's 5 ft 11 inches from the back, to the front of the keybed, which indicates a Model O, according a local piano technician and the date of manufacture.
There are a few wood splits on the sound board, but the piano still sounds better than 98% of the pianos I've heard in my lifetime.
Please email with questions, I'll do my best to answer them.
NY State residents, must pay 8% sales tax on the total.
The piano is located at a church that is re-locating, and is having a hard time finding a piano player for the Sunday morning services.
Local pick-up is preffered, but there may be a way to arrange for delivery by KeyBoard Carraige, ask first.
Thanks, Chas
