1924 RCA Radiola AR-812 superheterodyne battery radio

You are bidding on a really beautiful vintage antique 1924 RCA Radiola AR-812 radio. I FOUND this radio in the upstairs storage rooms of an old radio parts store in NE Ohio back in the 1980s where it sat unnoticed for many, many years. This is a very early superheterodyne in excellent physical condition, and appears to be all complete and original except for tubes and the missing handle on top. The outside of the cabinet is in average condition with crazed finish and discolored brass trim pieces. A few nicks and dents in the wood as well as some rub through on bottom corners, but easy fixes. But the inside is like virgin with all wires in tack with battery wire labels and insulation.  NO ONE HAS FOOLED WITH THIS CHASSIS. The “C” bias battery in still in its compartment and both battery doors are included. Untested because of needed battery power and tubes, sold as-is and ready for your next restoration project. It measures 35”X 11”X 11 ½” Please review each picture carefully and ask all questions before placing your bid.
