This is a Spanish Literature Classic, written by Pedro Antonio de Alarcon.
We-written by Mr. Ford, the Professor of French and Spanish (Harvard) and also Guillermo Rivera, Assistant Professor of Spanish in Harvard Univeristy.
If you are learning beginning Spanish, this is a good book to start reading literature from.
 
(Book Condition): PLEASE TAKE NOTE...
Hardback shows minimal signs of wear for it's age HOWEVER it was used in a College Study Course and someone has used a pencil and made lots of little underscores.  I could only find 3-4 places that were done in ink, so the others could be erased as they are pencil, however there are tons of them and this will take time. Also, the previous owner and placed his name on the book several times throughout.   Pages and spine are tight. No loose pages.  Pages have tanning as to be expected.  You are buying this book as is.  Though I believe the pencil marks can be cleaned up quite a bit with patience. They did not bear down hard so they should be ok.  Still as is.
