DATED 1926 SIGNED CONKLIN TOLEDO OHIO FOUNTAIN INK PEN AND MECHANICAL PENCIL

RARE MATCHED SET

Beautiful set ~ Conklin Endura fountain ink pen and mechanical pencil - dated 1918 & 1925. 

FOUNTAIN PEN - The barrel of the 5" long (measured with cap in place) fountain pen in marked "TRADE CONKLIN MARK TOLEDO, OHIO, U.S.A .ENDURA." The filler lever is marked "Pat. Nov. 17. 1925" . The cap's clip (which lifts on a pivot - just press top and it raises up)  is marked "CONKLIN PAT. MAY - 28-1918". The nib is marked "Conklin ENDURA". The filler lever is marked "Pat Nov 17 1925".

MECHANICAL PENCIL - the clip (works the same as on the pen) is marked "Conklin PAT. 5-28-1918". Just above the clip its marked, "Conklin TOLEDO, OHIO, U.S.A."  Turn top end and the lead extends out (no lead in it but it does work!)

I tried several times but I could not capture the true color of this beautiful set - it is darker green than the photos show.  No visible teeth marks, cracks or damage - some remnants of old ink.

Its from an 81 year old gentleman's estate - his wife is moving in with her family and they are selling his collections. 

My low opening bid in no way reflects the true value of this item.
