1926 Chelsea Clock Company Solid Bronze Tambour #3

  This auction is for a Chelsea Clock Company "Tambor #3" solid bronze shelf clock.  It is 17 3/8ths inches wide by 9 inches tall

and weighs 22 pounds.  The balance staff is broken, but otherwise the movement is in good shape.  It has the serial number

172815 indicating a manufacturing date of 1926.  The dial is signed "Chelsea Clock Company, Boston USA " and under that 

Ship's Bell.    It is very unusual for this model that it has ship striking (8 - bells).

I spend a lot of time taking pictures and I feel that they are a very important part of the description. Additional information, photos or closeups are

We use UPS Ground within the continental USA. For all other shipments we use Express Mail. All shipments will carry insurance.When possible
