Description: I believe this saxophone dates from 1926 based on the serial # but it is not guaranteed. Auction includes Conn Soprano saxophone, new case, silver Selmer mouthpiece, ligature and cap. Also includes Vandoren s25 mouthpice and 8 reeds. Saxophone is in nice condition, finish looks good, check out the photos. Selmer silver mouthpiece is in very good condition and rubber insert shows very little wear. Vandoren mouthpice shows some wear but very serviceable. Pads look good and neck cork is still serviceable but suffers from some flaking. When I got this sax it had been stored in a very old musty case. I bought a new case and aired out the sax but I have an acute sense of smell and I can still smell some mustiness in the sax. Sax is inscribed " Pat. Dec 8,1914 1119954 C 177182 L".
