1926 Paramount Tenor 4 String Banjo,Beautiful Style "A"

Beautiful 19 fret Paramount Style "A"  Archtop Tenor Banjo... In very nice original condition. Tune this beauty up and you are making music, it's ready to go...     Nickel plating looks like new, no wear on the frets, or on the rosewood fretboard, nice low action...  19 frets, 24 brackets, I'm selling this banjo for a friend that got the Banjo as a gift from an old Banjo collector in Anaheim California about 1985, it's been in the closet all this time. The beautiful condition of this Banjo is so nice for it's age... it's almost like new...  I don't think it's ever been played much.  Snowflake diamond pattern on fretboard, all Mother of pearl is tight and in great shape, Serial # is 1462 on dowel stick and on rim. Wood is Maple with a few birdseyes. Finish is nice, has nickle plated metal tone ring. Banjo comes with bracket key, original tuners work great. Beautiful nickle armrest shows absolutely no wear. comes with a shoulder strap, and an old capo, some extra strings.  Neck has wood marquetry on the sides and on the resonator. Not the original case, but is in fair to good condition, all the latches work, it is a "Conqueror" Case. The heel has a hairline crack that has been nicely repaired.(see picture #10) The picture overdoes the very fine line... The skin head has a small cut about 1/4 inch long (see picture #9 ) in front of the key there is some orange glue to close the cut on the inside. The head is drum tight and very playable with the repaired cut,  it is hardly noticable on the top.  The neck is straight, no curves or bowing. the tail piece is Paramount  Anyone would be proud to own this fine old banjo in such great original unrestored shape.
