You are bidding on an original 1927 Edward Curtis photograve titled, "First Walker - Ponca". This is from later in Curtis' career. Very personal close-up photograph of a Ponca Indian Chief . Notable deep plate mark on aged, thick, heavy, woven paper. It is marked on the bottom, "From copyright photograph 1927 by E.S. Curtis". It measures 9 1/2" x 12 1/2" with the image measuring 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" not including the plate mark. Great condition with no nicks, tears, or creases. Reference from, "Gordon's Photography Price Annual International 2005". We guarantee this piece original and authentic. Please refer to our photographs.
