1927 JACK DEMPSEY vs GENE TUNNEY POSTER  ..... Frame is included  - awesome scarce collectible .... A program Poster from the September 27, 1927 Tunney-Dempsey "Long Count" fight at Chicago's Soldiers Field, which produced the most controversial moment in the sport's history. It occurred when Tunney, who'd beaten the "Manassas Mauler" in their first fight, was knocked cold in round 7 but Dempsey didn't go right away to a neutral corner and referee Dave Barry delayed the count. By the time Barry finally got around to counting 9, Tunney got up and eventually took a 10-round decision. Ring fans still argue about it to this day, and the poster makes it seem as though it all happened yesterday with stirring photos of the 2 fighters on the tinted-color cover . It measures 12"x 18" This historic poster (not the original) came from an avid collector of boxing memorabilia. (I purchased much of his great collection) Honestly, my pic doesn't do this poster justice. You will be delighted to own this poster. You will be amazed with the quality and clarity. It is in mint condition. No creases pin holes etc. It is undamaged. Will be sent in special packaging just as you see it. frame is included..  A wonderful collectable that represents the past..
