This magnificent 1928 Gibson L-5 was rebuilt in 1996 by the Gibson Factory Custom Shop in Nashville, with the goal of looking like it did when it came off the line at the factory in 1928. The Guitar has a Trapeze Bar with the L-5 inscription, which is extremely rare! The original Serial Number is inside the body, and the sound is as resonant as if the instrument had just rolled off the assembly line! The Gibson is near mint condition, and is period correct, with all of the detail being as close as the Custom Shop was able to reproduce. This beautiful guitar is perfect for the serious collector who seeks beauty and rarity. Comes with a Lifton Hardshell Case, and Case Cover. Please email any and all questions. Interested parties are welcome to inspect the guitar by appointment. We are listing this item as "pickup only", as we would assume that the buyer of such a magnificent piece would wish to pick it up in person. We would, however, be more than happy to assist in any shipping arrangements (at the buyer's expense), after full payment has been made. Thanks for Looking at our Listings! |
