The scanned images depict this paper money fairly well, but can't due justice to the overall appearance of this 100 Pengo banknote from Hungary, issued in 1930 by the MAGYAR NEMZETI BANK The Hungarian National Bank). Lovely circulated note with lilac and blue-green colors. Strong features for grade with very strong eye appeal, even bordering and sharp detail. Large banknote has three light vertical folds including the center fold and a hint of crispness remaining. Obverse depicts King Matayas to right. Reverse buildings in center. This note bears the serial number 042623. Terrific bit of Hungarian Pre-World War II history any collection at a very fair price. This item was part of my husband's collection. He is terminally ill with cancer and wants me to sell all of his private collection, coins and currency. I have three minor children to raise and so I comply.
