This is a 1930 Lever Brothers Company Rinso Soap Advertising Cover with cancellation and stamp.  This cover features a attractive graphic - a woman pointing to a soap box which reads "Rinso/ The Granulated soap/ FOR TUB OR WASHING MACHINE/ washes clothes whiter."  Below this is written "Saves work...saves time...saves clothes."  Across the bottom in bold letters is "IN YOUR TOWN."  The cancellation reads "MADISON SQ. STA, N.Y. 8/ 1930."  The 1-1/2 Cent Harding stamp is complete, although the lower left corner is folded over.  This cover measures approximately 10-1/2" wide x 7-1/2" high and is made of heavy paper.  This vintage advertising cover is in good condition with some fading, creases and light stains.  The back is complete and blank.  The closing flap is torn and has missing pieces.  The buyer pays a flat pack/ship fee of $2.85 (continental U.S.).  Please email any questions.
